Crest FireWise Information

Crest Fire Safe Council is gathering data to submit all the required documents (Risk Assessment and 3-Year Action Plan) to become FIREWISE Certified. Versus driving through the neighborhoods to get this information, we are asking residents to fill out the following form below so that we can get Firewise certified and residents can start claiming a Firewise discount on their homeowner’s insurance.

We will use your information (phone/email) only to communicate updates regarding our Firewise application. When we get certified you can contact your insurance company to ask about your possible discount.

Crest Northeast Firewise was approved in 12/2024. We will be expanding this program to more Crest residents, but we need your help. Please contact Diana Griffin, Regional Coordinator at southcrestfw@gmail.com

The pilot is currently comprised of 31 Crest homes. California has enacted ‘Safer from Wildfires’ regulations requiring insurance companies to recognize Firewise USA designated communities by providing discounts to property owners.
